Accommodation types and rent prices
Rent is £695.94 a month. This includes water, electricity, gas, and Council Tax.
Single rooms are for 1 person. These consist of a single furnished bedroom with wash hand basin and shared use of kitchen, bathroom, toilet and lounge with 4 other tenants.
Rent is £813.85 a month. This includes water, electricity, gas, and Council Tax.
Enhanced single occupancy rooms are for 1 person. These consist of 2 self contained rooms (one with a wash hand basin) and shared use of the kitchen, bathroom and separate WC with 2 other tenants.
Rent price is £1,548.65 a month. This includes utilities, but does not include Council Tax.
2 bedroom flats are for families. These consist of a kitchen, bathroom, lounge, hallway and 2 bedrooms (1 single and 1 double)

Deposit
The deposit is 1 month’s rent which is paid to the Deposit Protection Service. The scheme holds your deposit until you move out of your home.
Who you’ll be living with
You’ll be living with other NHS and Non-NHS keyworkers.
Tenancy length
Your initial tenancy will last for 6 months. After that it becomes a month to month rolling contract. You can end your tenancy at any time by giving 4 weeks’ notice.

Here in East Grinstead, we have a range of homes for hospital staff and other key workers wanting to live close to the Queen Victoria Hospital, which is literally a two minute walk away. These include modern and comfy, self-contained single occupancy rooms in shared houses and two bedroom flats.
A tenant describes their experience: Given the opportunity to live at this fabulous place, I would say it fabulous because last when I was in Dubai, I had to travel daily almost to 30 minutes. But here I’m getting up. I will take only five minutes to getting a fresh shower or whatever. I will take my breakfast in 10 minutes, and I can go to my duty within like three minutes or maybe less. I like the room. I feel like home. I have all the things, whatever I need to stay calm. And the third thing is I like the kitchen.
So I feel like at home. I don’t feel like I’m away from my home here.
Narrator: We have a covered area for bicycle storage. Wi-Fi is readily available and other payable services include an on-site laundry accessible 24/7 hours a day. Residents and visitors car parking permits subject to availability.
There is an accommodation office on site staffed by friendly and helpful MTVH staff, who can help you with any repairs and maintenance issues or other aspects of your tenancy. The office is open from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Fridays. The historic town of East Grinstead is about a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride away.
Here, you will find the local cinema, a wide selection of shops, and the train station, which has regular trains to London. Crawley Town Centre, with its numerous attractions such as cineworld, bowling, gym and leisure center is within a 25-minute drive. We also have a large leisure center within a 20-minute walk of our accommodation.
Another tenant describes their experience: The best thing that I like in this accommodation is the cleanliness. I have a spacious place for myself and also it’s well organized and the proficiency of the people that I’m dealing with here since I started this accommodation. The distance from here to the station is like 20-minutes walk. So it’s not a big deal. Living here in East Grinstead, the place is quiet and people are so nice. And that’s very important for me as a foreigner. It is about dealing easily with people and that’s the best thing that I find here in this place.
