The Spelthorne Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme (RSAP) provides accommodation and support to rough sleepers, helping them to move on to independent living.
Who can use this service
People who use this service must:
- be 18 or over
- have a history of rough sleeping
- have a local connection with Spelthorne
- have completed an initial stay at the White House hostel in Spelthorne
The maximum length of stay is 2 years.
What this service offers
RSAP currently consists of 6 self-contained 1 bedroom properties dispersed across Spelthorne Borough. A resettlement worker provides intensive personalised support, working with people to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Cost
All property rents are charged within the Local Housing Allowance cap to ensure they are truly affordable.
Location
The properties are dispersed across the borough, with each having good transport links and access to local amenities.
This service is for people with learning disabilities who are transitioning into independent living. Each resident has their own flat, supported by an on-site care and support team.
Who can use this service
People who use this service must:
- be 18 to 55
- have a learning disability and a level of capacity sufficient to hold a tenancy
- live in Richmond, London
What this service offers
Each resident has their own self-contained flat. Support with managing every day tasks is provided by an on-site care and support team, 24 hours a day.
Support includes:
- developing independent living skills around cooking and a balanced diet
- maintaining a home
- budgeting for everyday household costs
- attending appointments
- accessing services and activities in the local community
Care and support colleagues will work with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that the right amount of support is delivered, all with the intention of doing things with, rather than for, the individual.
Location
The service is about a 15-minute walk from local amenities, and there are good transport links to Twickenham, Teddington and other parts of Richmond.
How to apply
You can’t apply directly to use this service. You must be referred through Richmond Learning Disability Services (Adult Social Care). Contact can be made via your social worker.
235 Balham High Road have Five 1-bedroom flats in converted house the support be will for a maximum period of 18 months. The aim of this Service is to encourage and support vulnerable people to manage their tenancy and maintain independence and move towards and where possible achieve independent living.
We provide 36 floating hours of support each week.

This service provides move-on accommodation for rough sleepers, supporting them to access services, preparing them for independent living and sustainable tenancies. Fifteen rooms with shared facilities across three buildings.
12-16 Langdon Park, has 3 houses with a joint garden the project is a supporting living for people with learning disabilities, autism and changeling behaviour.
The service is close to Kingston which is just a short bus ride away. The support we offer is person-centered, which means it is tailored to each person’s personal support needs and we make sure that they take the lead in how and when they are supported.
The service is expected to achieve the following outcomes:
- People have good health and a safe environment
- People maintain their independence
- People are supported to have choice and control
- People maintain networks of support
- Support with finance management and maintaining tenancies.

Dafforne Road is a 24-hour female only mental health house for 6 people. The house is over 3 floors with 2 kitchens a communal lounge, and a good size garden. Close to amenities and shops. The closest train station is Tooting Bec station.

Dafforne Road is a low support male only Mental health House for 7 people, the house is over 3 floors with 2 kitchens a communal lounge, and a good size garden. Close to amenities and shops. The closes train station is Tooting Bec station.
We provide flotting support each week.
The service is expected to achieve the following outcomes:
- No negative departure – Eviction
- Customers to engage in a drug and alcohol detox treatment
- 2 gained access to voluntary job

Handyperson Service
Who is the handyperson service for?
It’s for people who live in Camden who are over 65, or have a disability or mental health condition.
You do not need to be an MTVH resident to use this service.
What we can do for you?
The team can help with things like:
- Minor home repairs and maintenance
- Security measures
- Home safety checks
- Minor plumbing jobs
We can also make sure that your home is safe for you to go back to when you’re discharged from hospital.
Services will be free if you have been referred by Camden Council’s warmth, income, safety and health services (WISH), otherwise services are charged at £12.50 per hour, plus materials.

Adaptation and Grants Service
Our Home Adaptation and Grants Service is for people who live in Camden and have a disability. It helps them to:
- Adapt their home so they can keep living independently. Adaptations could include a level access shower, stair lift, ceiling track hoist and access.
- Apply for a Disabled Facilities Grant to pay for the works – depending on your income, you may need to pay towards the cost of the work to your home.
We can help you whether you live in a housing association property, rent your home from a private landlord or own your home.
You do not need to be an MTVH resident to use this service.
How it works
This is the process:
- You’ll need a referral from an Occupational Therapist. If you need a referral, self refer to Camden Council’s Adult Social Care on 020 7974 4000 and pick option 1, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
- Our surveyor will draw up a design based on your Occupational Therapist’s recommendations.
- We’ll find the right builder to complete the works and manage the project for you until they’re finished.

15 Clothall Rd is a residential care home for four people with learning disabilities in Baldock, Hertfordshire
Customers have their own room and share communal facilities. We offer home day care facilities and a support network for customers, which is developed around their individual needs.

This service is no longer managed by MTVH.
North London & Hertfordshire Community support provides care and support services to people with learning disabilities and autism across North London and Hertfordshire. This service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and currently provides care and support to customers in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Brent. Customers either live in shared ‘supported living’ settings, or live in their own self-contained property and receive 1:1 support from our team of Care & Support Workers.
All customers have a learning disability or autism and are supported to live independently and maintain their tenancy, at the same time we work towards supporting customers to achieve short and longer term goals. Support is structured and covers various life skills, including:
- personal care
- assisted daily living activities, such as shopping or cooking
- managing health and well-being
- tenancy management
- accessing work or training opportunities
- accessing local community groups

Pound Lane is a 24 hour accommodation-based service for adults aged 18 and over with mental health support needs.
Residents of 7-9 Pound Lane receive support in their recovery.
Referrals for this service are through contacting James Adedoyin (Operations Manager).
Holmesdale Road
Holmesdale Road is a detached house where 8 people with learning disabilities live, each having their own bedroom and then sharing the communal bathroom, kitchen and lounge.
There is a garden at the rear of the property, and sensory room which people living at Holmesdale Road can use when they wish.
The house is situated within walking distance of Teddington.
Referrals for this service are through Richmond Local Authority for Richmond Community Support.
Is semi-detached house with 8 adults with learning disabilities live. Each having their own bedroom and then sharing three communal bathrooms, activities room, kitchen and lounge.
There is a beautiful large garden at the rear of the property which people can use when they wish. The house is situated within walking distance of Hampton Wick.
Referrals for this service are through Richmond Local Authority.
Is a detached house based in the heart of Twickenham where 8 people with learning disabilities all live together. Each person has their own bedroom decorated and designed to suit their personal taste and needs. Our customers share three communal bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. There is also a secure garden at the rear of the property which people living at Lion Road can use whenever they choose.
There is a lift fitted to the home.
The house is situated within walking distance of Twickenham and local bus stops. There are local amenities close by. The house is staffed 24 hours a day and there is a stable staffing team some of whom have been working at Lion Road for many years.
Referrals for this service are through Richmond Local Authority.
Coopers Court is a registered Supported Living service for 10 adults with a Learning Disability. The service consists of ten self-contained flats one of which is occupied by support colleagues and is used as the main office for meetings and communal social events.
We have ten customers who are all Nottingham City Council referrals and have individually support packages varying in hours. Customers are supported to increase independent living skills, accessing the local community, health care needs and identifying opportunities within the community for education and work.
The team consists of one team manager, A team leader and eight Care and Support Workers. We work with our customers to identify an individual support package and achievable goals and outcomes. Each customers has an ongoing risk assessment in place along with support plans that are reviewed every 3 months.
Referrals are Via Nottingham City Council supported living team.
The Derbyshire Home Improvement Agency will close on 31 March 2023. You can no longer use this service.
Tom Farm Court offers homes to buy for people aged 55 and over. There are 19 bungalows and six one-bedroom flats.
A Housing Manager is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
