Our Lansdowne Hill service in London is for older people who can live independently.

All homes are self-contained with an alarm system in case of emergency. There are no staff on site.

Our service at Coneygear Court in Cambridgeshire provides temporary accommodation for families and individuals who are homeless.

There are 21 rooms, some of which can accommodate families. Customers have access to shared bathrooms, kitchens, laundry and recreation rooms and a separate two-bedroom family house is used to temporarily house young single parents.

Our team works closely with Huntingdon District Council, supporting individuals and families to move on to more permanent accommodation.

Our service in Buntingford, Hertfordshire provides accommodation for four people with learning disabilities.

Each customer has their own bedroom and shared kitchen, lounge/diner, toilet, bathroom and garden. We provide twenty-four hour care and with staff sleeping in overnight.

Baldock is a residential care home for five people with learning disabilities in Baldock, Hertfordshire.

Customers have their own room and share communal facilities. We offer home day care facilities and a support network for customers, which is developed around their individual needs.

We offer supported housing and 24-hour care for eight adults with learning disabilities at our Stansfield Court service in Harlow.

The flats at Stansfield Court are self-contained with a communal laundry room and a large garden.

The service is located in a quiet area, close to the town centre with easy access to shops, transport, leisure activities and the local college.

We provide a range of services, practical advice, guidance and support which help people maintain their independence so that they can continue to live in their own homes for as long as possible. Our care and repair teams work predominantly with homeowners and private tenants in Haringey.

Multitask membership scheme

Our multitask membership scheme in Haringey provides a range of services, including advice, project management and subsidised handyman and gardening services. The membership fee is just £30 a year.

We work with a range of customers, including:

  • people aged 60 and over
  • younger disabled people
  • people on low incomes

The services we provide vary depending on where you live and include:

  • advice on repairs and maintaining your home
  • help arranging grants, loans and funding towards the cost of work
  • technical help, preparing schedules and overseeing work carried out by reliable contractors
  • advice on maximising income and benefits
  • help accessing local services
  • gardening services

Paying for work

With so many grants, loans and funding schemes available, things can get a bit confusing or seem really daunting! However, there’s no need to worry – we have many years’ experience of helping our customers make sense of what financial help is out there and can also help you through the application process. You may of course also use your own personal savings to fund work.

Again, because of how funding is allocated across local authorities in England, the options available will depend on where you live. Options include:

  • Warmer homes, healthier living
    This scheme helps fund heating repairs and replacement for people with long-term health needs.
  • Handyperson service
    This service is available to older people and people with disabilities in Haringey. It helps customers maintain their independence by carrying out minor repairs and small adaptations.
  • Gardening Service
    We offer subsidised gardening service at £15.00 per hour including fencing and gate repairs.

Staff are on site from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm every other day of the week. At all other times residents can use pull cords linked to an emergency alarm system. In addition to customers’ own self-contained accommodation there are also communal areas, including a lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a guest room and gardens. The scheme is served by a lift and a secure door entry system and CCTV.

The service is located close to local amenities, including a Post Office, pharmacy, library, leisure centre, places of worship, GP surgeries, supermarkets and shops.

The flats are owned by London & Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) but are managed by us.

Sylvia Lawla Court in Wood Green, London provides accommodation and support to vulnerable people aged 55 and over.

There are 26 self-contained one-bedroom flats and one three-bedroom flat, each equipped with a pull cord linked to an emergency alarm system. There is a communal lounge with TV, kitchen, laundry room, shower room, a guest room and gardens. There is also a lift to all floors, a door entry system and CCTV, providing customers with security and peace of mind.

A scheme manager is on site Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm. We also have cleaning and gardening contractors on site twice weekly and we provide a handyman service to residents.

The service is close to a wide range of local amenities and public transport.

Passmore Edwards House in north London provides accommodation and support to vulnerable adults over the age of 55.

There are 36 one-bedroom flats, each of which is equipped with a pull cord linked to an emergency alarm system. There are two communal lounges, a kitchen, a fully equipped laundry room, shower room, toilets, a guest room, beautiful gardens, CCTV and a door entry system.

Conveniently located opposite Bounds Green tube station, Passmore Edwards House is close to local shops, a post office, pharmacy and the Bounds Green GP surgery.

We manage the accommodation and provide support for 34 residents over the age of 55 with physical, mental or social support needs.

In addition to residents’ self-contained accommodation there are also communal areas, including a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest room, a laundry room and communal toilets. The scheme is served by a lift and there is a secure door entry system.

Staff are on site Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm. At all other times residents can make emergency calls to our central control team.

The scheme is located close to amenities, including a Post Office, pharmacy, GP surgeries, places of worship, supermarkets and many local shops.

The one-bedroom flats are owned by London & Quadrant Housing Trust.

The scheme is located between Wood Green and Bounds Green, a short walk from local shops.
